Welcome to The New Heights Baton Twirlers Homepage!

The New Heights Baton Twirlers Club (the Club), is the administrative side of The Baton and Dance Company (BDC) studio. As such we are responsible for handling fundraising, bookeeping and organizing special events. The Club is comprised of parents, guardians and twirlers with duties as related by our mission statement:

As a club in the Calgary (Alberta, Canada) region, we are members of Central Region, the Alberta Baton Twirling Association (A.B.T.A.), the Canadian Baton Twirling Federation (C.B.T.F.) and the World Baton Twirling Federation (W.B.T.F.). It is through these organizations that our athletes are given the opportunity to advance in the sport of Baton Twirling.

Club History: The Club was originally formed in 1988 under the name The Baton and Dance Company Parents Club. The Parents Club was renamed, in September 1994 to New Heights Baton Twirlers, to seperate it from the Studio. The name was chosen by the members from a number submitted. We believe that the name conveys a strong message about striving to reach for your dreams, something we try to instill in the youth we support.
